Saint Malo aquarium, it is the kids’ site par excellence, thanks to its
extremely ludic side and its highly sympathetic course. |
 The Saint Malo Aquarium - St malo, Bretagne (35400)
in the great St Malo aquarium is like diving in one of Jules Vernes’
novels. The decorations are remarkable; everything is agreeably put in
scene to offer the visitors a fabulous discovery of the marine world.
The jellyfishes, the superb anemones, a giant crab, a strange
siphonostome, splendid “cérianthes” (very close to the anemone) similar
to large daisies, these are the first tenants you will meet. Then the
royal sea-breams will show-up, sublime, the sea dahlias, real |
under
water garden; the murenes which seem to have found in this place their
small kingdom, the adorable turtles, the enormous “mérou”, or the
circular basin in which sharks make their show.
The marine world opened its doors to us and the surprised, amused and
curious visitor continues with pleasure his visit under the sea. What
to say when one arrives to the Indian Ocean... surgeons with splendid
colours, red barber, green demoiselle, myriad of funny names and exotic
colours. Then we find ourselves in the holds of a boat, what a weird
and admirably well reconstituted place, all that to lead us in a
breathtaking discovery of the Amazon River, then we will cross a cave
and... according to the sounds which will reach us, we will guess that
we arrive in a place that the children have already made theirs...
indeed, large vats come into our sight, the rays and other freshwater
fish come to play with you. The children seem to adore this complicity
between them and the Rays coming to greet them and be caressed without
fear.
We move then towards the Nautibus, an amazing attraction of this huge
aquarium. Children and parents are glad to become the lucky passengers
of this submarine which will make them discover the mysteries of the
deep blue and guide them towards the wonders of sea-beds. The 3D
cinema, also offers a beautiful 10mn show. Glasses on the nose, dive
into the deep blue and meet its funny inhabitants… |
