| Following the Emerald coast, after having passed Saint Malo initially and then Dinard conveys Saint Lunaire... |
Saint Lunaire - Eglise Saint Lunaire, this station owes its name to an Irish monk who settled there in the purpose of evangelising it. According to the legend, when the monk arrived in the 6th century, he had to face a thick fog that he split with his sword slicing the cliff by the same. Moreover, today, the point of “Décollé” offers a splendid panorama which goes from the Cape “Fréhel” to “Saint Malo”, it shelters the golf of Dinard and “La Chaumière” disco. The church of Saint Lunaire is singular while being |
one of the oldest religious buildings of la Bretagne and by its small size so to resist to the storms. There remains the tomb of Lunaire (the Irish monk). |
