is the capital of Trégor, a bishopric capital since it is especially on
the religious level that Treguier imposed a certain authority on the
surroundings. Indeed, ancient Episcopal seat and high place of the

history of this city starts with the arrival of Tugdual to the "Val

place of the Breton religious architecture. The town of Tréguier is
also the cradle of the most important saint of Brittany, namely Saint
