is located on a peninsula at the western point of the bay of Morlaix.
It guards the entry of the English Channel and marks the northern limit
of Leon. Face to the sea, Roscoff owes its prosperity to its port. |

At the present time, a second deep water port was set up in Roscoff to continue to trade with the British Isles and to keep intact the picturesque charm of the city and of the first port. Roscoff is also known to be one of the first thalassotherapy centres thanks to its soft climate. |
