name of radôme comes from the fusion of the terms of radar and dome.
Indeed, this giant bubble of 50 meters high has for role to transmit
satellite telecommunications. Satellites located 36 000 kilometres
above the city. In 1962, this antenna carried out the first ever
intercontinental satellite connection. It is thanks to this technology
that everyone managed to see the retransmission of the first steps on
the moon. The site of Cosmopolis proposes the telecoms museum composed

cyberspace and numerous temporary exposures. Lastly, the
planetarium of Brittany explains the universe through themes to improve
its pedagogy in the history of the universe and the planet earth. Also,
the reconstituted Gallic village in front of the planetarium is indeed
worth visiting, as well as the yards of youth volunteers which donate
